Lisa Weinert

Lisa Weinert is passionate about powerful voices and the potential for storytelling to heal and transform lives. She offers mindfulness-based publishing services, including coaching packages, classes and workshops designed to provide practical marketing tools while keeping the creative process at the center of the experience. She began her career in 2002 as a book publicist at the Knopf Doubleday Group, Random House Inc. There she worked with hundreds of award-winning and bestselling authors. Motivated by marrying the best practices of traditional publishing with all the new opportunities digital publishing offered, she founded Lisa Weinert Consulting (LWC) in 2011 to offer customized publishing and publicity campaigns for authors. In 2016, she launched Narrative Healing: Unlock the Power of Storytelling, an annual program at the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health. She is currently teaching a publishing course at Wesleyan University.
